What’s the deal?

Hi, I’m Lindsey Adler, a lifelong writer and career journalist whose favorite word in the English language is “why?” Long before I drew an income from writing, I used the medium as a way of connecting with others. I’m an internet native who grew up on Xanga and Tumblr and have always felt an insatiable drive to discuss my interests and experiences with others who care about them, too.

Critical Thinking is a publication about the pieces of culture I enjoy, and how I experience them.

Here, you’ll get a medley of thoughts on the forms of creativity that percolate in my mind and shape my perspective of the world. There will be my accounts of books I have read, music I have seen performed, and visual art that has moved me. Maybe we’ll talk to some other people here, too, as my mind can only take us so far. Sometimes, I’ll just write about myself.
