Cultural Compendium, vol. 2

Hello and welcome to this week’s edition of my Cultural Compendium. It was a very cinema-heavy week for me and most of my reading was just political theory to try to turn my anxiety into an academic exercise.
I published three pieces this week:
- An essay on the idea of making a narrative out of your own life.
- A personal piece about my tendency toward anger and the way the internet has intensified that trait. (Mostly paywalled.)
- And an all-out screed about internalizing the stigma against experiencing depression and anxiety.
Additionally, I would really like to give my thanks to all who have subscribed to my ‘Stack over the last few weeks. It’s been incredibly cathartic to have a place to write like myself again after a few years in the creative abyss. However, I am looking for all sorts of writing/writing-adjacent work, so please let me know if you have a need for someone with these skills.
Anyway, enough with that stuff. I hope you find something to suit your interests in this week’s list.
